Use purge to remove anything that is not strictly a part of the block, and audit will confirm that the block is 'clean'. *always run PURGE and AUDIT before deciding that you're done. If this is necessary, then explode the inserted block before saving the one you're creating.

First, it won't insert as a block if it's a dwt, so obviously you also have this saved as a dwg somewhere. (The Insert command just discards whatever exists in paperspace.)Īlso, you have that title block saved as a dwt, which has important differences from a dwg. So, your title block file ACTUALLY IS getting inserted, it's just that there's technically nothing to insert because your modelspace is empty. The problem you're experiencing is, blocks only bring modelspace with them during the insertion. So, the block you are trying to insert has an empty modelspace with its titleblock in paperspace.
